My Doll - Priya
Adolescence has to be the most talked about, the most written about, the most feared, the most scary time of every teenagers parent's life, the most beautiful, the most enigmatic, the most charismatic, the most dreaded, the most secretive, the most dwelled-in, the most hypnotic, the most magical, the most communicative, and the list goes on till infinite - well this is the best time of anyone's life. An age well-defined between the time from 13 to 19, an age which is the bridge between the child in you and the adult which will be you. This is going to be the defining moment for any human.
One such human-being in my life is my eldest sister's second daughter - Priyadarshini Patro who just finished her 12th grade and is onto her Graduation. She is one hell of a surprise package as a girl, as a human, as a niece, as a friend, as a daughter, as a sister, as a neighbor, as a guest, as a student, as a girl with the PUREST FORM OF HEART. Never complaining, never falling short of her love to you and always full of smiles.
Now, this comes at a time when she had been our home guest for the last one month. Before I go further and talk something about her it is important to post right here that in the last twenty years of me having to tend to guests of all levels friends, family members, et al, Priya had certainly carried herself so well, so perfect in all respects, so well-mannered except in a couple of occassions, so well-behaved, so good-natured, so soft, so loving, so caring and all of that in a small package called " a nice girl - Priya". She had been the best guest in our house for the last 10 years of our maried life and we appreciate the fact the she was the first guest whom we are actually missing even after she left. This is a real tough achievement and we would like to Congratulate this Kid with all our heart. Well-behaved my dear Priya - we love you and will love to have you with us anytime.
